Oak Animal Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician/Technologist (RVT/Technologist) to join our award-winning team in Vancouver, BC!

The Opportunity
We are looking for an RVT/Technologist who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, and wants to continue developing their skills in a progressive small animal hospital.
At Oak Animal Hospital, you’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians and support team members while gaining exposure to a wide range of medical and surgical cases. As an RVT/Technologist, you’ll play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and providing excellent patient care. Your responsibilities may include:
Providing high-quality nursing and patient care
Monitoring anesthetized and hospitalized patients
Assisting with surgical and dental procedures
Performing laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures
Taking and developing diagnostic radiographs
Assisting with ultrasound and other advanced diagnostics
Supporting veterinarians during appointments and procedures
Educating clients on patient care and treatment plans
Maintaining accurate medical records
Working collaboratively with veterinarians, RVTs, assistants, and client care team members
Helping create a calm and fear-reducing experience for patients
Contributing to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment
