Registered Veterinary Technician – Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital
Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! Since opening in 2011, our hospital has been committed to providing exceptional care and service to our patients and clients, and we are proud to continue building strong relationships within our community. Our hospital is home to a dedicated team of veterinarians and support staff who are passionate about patient care and lifelong learning. The Opportunity
We are looking for an RVT who takes pride in their work, values collaboration, and brings both technical skill and compassion to patient care. In this role, you will support a wide range of responsibilities including patient assessments, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, surgical assistance, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy duties, and patient recovery. You will also play an important role in client communication, education, and supporting the overall success of the hospital team.

What You Will Bring
Completion of a Veterinary Technician/Technologist or Animal Health Technician/Technologist program
Strong technical skills including patient assessment, venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, surgical assistance, and pharmacy duties
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
Compassionate care for patients and excellent communication with pet owners
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for veterinary medicine
