Conveniently located in Colorado Springs, Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital provides 24/7 emergency and critical care services along with advanced specialty care in surgery and diagnostic imaging. Our multidisciplinary approach allows specialists and emergency clinicians to work together seamlessly, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, high-quality care from presentation through discharge.
As an ER/ICU Technician, your primary responsibility is to triage patients as they present to the Emergency Room according to triage levels. Assess pets and provide immediate lifesaving care under the direction of the ER doctor as required for critical patients. Provides history, vitals, and concerns to doctors to assist in the timely and appropriate management of emergency patients. Works well with other technical staff and assistants to perform diagnostics, execute treatment plan and/or hospitalize the patient. Communicates medical updates, financials, and treatment plans to owners.
