Join our incredible team at The Pet Hospital of Tierrasantaas the next great step in your career. We are looking to add a full-time Registered Veterinary Technicianto our team. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, venipuncture, restraint, knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member.
The Pet Hospital of Tierrasantais a 3-doctor hospital open from 8 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:30 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday, closed on Sundays. The Pet Hospital of Tierrasantaaims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent quality medicine and compassionate medical care. We strive to give our customers the best-personalized service possible and to create a friendly, professional work environment for our awesome staff!

Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint
Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
Placing IV catheters
Digital radiology including positioning.
Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
TPR
Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; Sedivue
Excellent client communication/education
