North Weald Vets are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

About Our Practice
We are a welcoming and collaborative team made up of:* 4 Veterinary Surgeons* 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses* 2 Receptionists* 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
As a smaller practice, every team member plays an important role. No two days are the same, and you’ll be involved in all aspects of practice life, from supporting on reception to assisting with surgical procedures and diagnostics.
Our practice is well-equipped with up-to-date facilities, including a new dental x-ray machine, allowing us to deliver a high standard of care and carry out a wide range of procedures in-house.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on nursing role where you’ll rotate across different areas of the practice, including:* Theatre and surgical support* Inpatient care* Nurse consultations* Diagnostic procedures* Client communication and reception support
We are passionate about supporting our nurses and actively encourage the development of new skills and competencies across different areas of nursing. If there’s a particular area you’d like to grow in, we’ll help you build confidence and experience.
Working Pattern
The role is based on a 40-hour week, working Monday to Friday. Shifts are 8 hours in length, either 8:00am – 4:00pm or 11:00am – 7:00pm. There is also a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota (8:00am – 1:00pm).
