We are seeking a confident, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Waverley Vets on a full-timebasis.
Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside with easy access to London and the South Coast, our friendly first-opinion practice is looking for a Veterinary Nurse to become part of our supportive team. You'll enjoy a varied role, from managing inpatient care and running nurse consults to supporting our vets in theatre and diagnostics. As a training practice, we're passionate about developing the next generation of nurses, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to be part of a like-minded team.
Practice Highlights
* Fully equipped practice, including in-house lab, digital and dental x-ray, and surgical facilities
* Opportunity to work in sole charge at our small branch practice with an excellent client base
* Be part of a supportive training practice with student nurses and experienced Clinical Supervisors, where everyone contributes to learning and development
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
* 40 hours per week
* 4 days per week, 8:15 am–6:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, split across two sites
* 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30 am–12:30 pm
* No OOH

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
* A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
