Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our AMAZING team at Medivet Dulwich!

We have a 3-vet team led by Inga, our Branch Partner. Inga has over nine years’ experience and a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. You'll also be working alongside an Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants, dedicated Client Care Assistant and Practice Manager.

This is more than just a role... it’s a chance to join a tight-knit, collaborative team at a pivotal time. Our East Dulwich clinic is undergoing an exciting full refurbishment, giving you the opportunity to help shape the future of a modern, well-equipped practice with an opportunity for certificate training if desired. The practice has modern facilities including X-ray, ultrasound, dental and in house lab.

We see a varied caseload of around 70% cats and 30% dog patients. We're busy with consults and ops with ample time for any administrative tasks and our lunch breaks!

There’s opportunity for nurse consults and we will support you with training and internal CPD to build confidence and develop your consulting skills, we also have a bespoke nutritional ambassador programme!

To support your work-life balance, this role works to a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends. You’ll have a set day off each week, providing continuity to make plans and enjoy your extra free time!

About you

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards

  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges

  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
