Full time · Evesham, Worcestershire · 3+ years post-graduation experience required
Vets for Pets Evesham is a practice with real momentum. Owned and run by the same team behind the award-winning Vets for Pets Worcester — named Practice of the Year in the Vets for Pets group (2017) and Best Vets in Worcestershire (2024, 2025) — we've recently expanded our facilities and are investing consistently in our equipment and our people.
Evesham is on a similar trajectory. If you bring a winning outlook, this is your chance to help us win some awards of our own.
We're a close-knit team of 12, and we think that's one of our greatest strengths. Everyone knows each other, everyone matters, and the contribution each person makes is genuinely felt. Our ethos is simple: help every client get the very best care for their pet, within the reality of their individual circumstances and budget.
Life at Evesham:
Small team, big community. As part of the Vets for Pets Worcester family, our Evesham team has full access to the wider social scene — book club, movie club, craft club, and more — shared across a combined group of over 40 people. You get the warmth of a tight-knit practice with the social life of a much larger organisation.
*We offer a choice of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts — you pick the pattern that suits you best — with paid overtime. We're open Monday to Saturday, and all roles involve 1 in 3 Saturdays, meaning you'll always have your Sundays free.*
The role:
We're looking for an experienced, qualified veterinary nurse to become an integral part of the Evesham team. You'll work alongside our vets across a varied caseload, with the full backing of a practice group that genuinely invests in its people. This is a practice that's going places — and we want people who want to grow with it.
You'll bring at least three years of post-graduation experience and the confidence that comes with it, whether that's in theatre, consulting clinics, or nursing care.
What we’re looking for:
A registered veterinary nurse with 3+ years of post-graduation experience who takes pride in the quality of care they give and loves working as part of a team. A passion for your own professional development would fit right in — we actively support certificates and further qualifications, because we know that investing in our people means better care for our clients.
What we offer:
If you would like to hear more, please contact Emma at Northvet@vets4pets.com, and someone will get back to you within one working day.
We take our inspiration from pets in embracing people from all walks of life, and we value, respect and celebrate difference. We encourage our people to be their best selves so that we can create a better world for Pets, our Planet, and People. Our ambition is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and we are intentional in addressing and removing barriers to create opportunities for the exceptional talent and potential in our communities. Even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!

Since 1991, when we were a wholesaler with a team of just 15, we’ve been focused on getting better every day. By putting pets before profit, working as a team and taking pride in everything we do, we’ve grown into a 451 store network with more than 8,913 colleagues working in our Stores, Grooming Salons, Distribution Centres and Support Office.
We are the UK’s leading pet specialist, providing pet owners with all their product needs, as well as our Vets for Pets practices and Grooming salons. We support our colleagues to work with pride and passion, to bring honesty and integrity to work every day, and to do it all with a sense of fun and fearlessness. We never shy away from having the important conversations and doing what we say we’ll do.
Our values and behaviours are practiced daily across the business and are what really makes us an enjoyable, exciting place to work. We're always striving to develop and reward our colleagues with an extensive in-house series of training programmes, wellbeing initiatives and a comprehensive benefits package. In 2018 we were delighted to be voted top 5 in the Great Place to Work UK’s Large category.
Our colleagues are central to the success of the business and are fully trained in pet care and dedicated to animal welfare. Pets are central to everything that we do and 93% of colleagues have their own pets too!
