An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Bradford Vets for Pets, a busy small animal practice.
Our purpose-built, fully equipped surgery enables us to provide a high standard of clinical care. You’ll be working alongside a close-knit and collaborative team made up of three Veterinary Surgeons, three Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, a Practice Manager, and four Client Care Advisors.
This role offers the chance to fully utilise your nursing skills. Your responsibilities will include patient admissions, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with surgical procedures and recovery, and discharging patients. You’ll also be supported by our Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses, who help with patient preparation and theatre turnaround.
We’re looking for someone with solid general nursing experience, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic attitude. A genuine passion for animal welfare is essential. You’ll also be a strong team player, willing to support colleagues and provide cover during holidays and absences.
This is a part-time role, working 35.75 hours per week.
