Job Description

Practice Group: Garston Vets, part of Linnaeus
Type: Full‑time, Permanent – 40 hours (4 × 10‑hour days with 1 midweek day off)
Part‑time applicants also welcome
Salary: Up to £33,000 per year, depending on experience
Additional pay and time back for out‑of‑hours work

We’re a progressive, friendly, and well‑established primary care practice with a team of 50 talented nurses, including Certificate holders in Medicine, ECC, Anaesthesia, Dentistry and Nutrition Many of our nurses are also actively studying for further qualifications, so you’ll be joining a team that genuinely values learning and career development.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across all our sites, with a variety of shifts, including days, weekends, and participation in our fair, supportive out‑of‑hours rota, designed to protect work‑life balance for all RVNs.

Progress Your Clinical Interests

If you have a particular area of clinical passion, you can become a Clinical Champion in fields such as Infection Control or Dentistry, helping to influence best practice both locally and across the wider Linnaeus network.

This year, we’re placing a strong focus on helping our RVNs feel confident performing Schedule 3 nursing procedures, with support from our highly experienced vets, dedicated student nurses, and fantastic PCAs. Alongside them, our knowledgeable Client Care team and in‑house receptionist and nurse‑led call centre work hard to ensure every client receives an exceptional experience, leaving you free to focus on delivering outstanding nursing care.
