Job Description

Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: From £27,000-£31,000 depending on experience

Location: Leigh, near Manchester

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, earliest shift 7am and latest finish 8pm - 1 in 5 weekends - would consider full time also

Our busy first opinion 24hr Veterinary Hospital, based in Leigh near Manchester requires an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to help during the day.

Role and Responsibilities

The role can be circulating through multiple departments to include theatre, consults, pharmacy, emergency and inpatient care. We are also recruiting an RVN with keen interests towards a theatre and anaesthesia role.

Variable shift patterns available working 10 hours shifts from 7am to latest 8pm with a share of 1 in 5 weekends. The role is 40 hrs per week over 4 days allowing for great work life balance.

You will be working alongside our dedicated and experienced team of Vets and Nurses, which will enable you to learn new skills and grow within the practice.

We are a very hands-on nursing team with plenty of chance to use all your nursing skills including schedule 3 activities.

The practice is friendly, forward thinking and encourages nurse progression through various CPD avenues, many of our current staff have or are participating in certificates and further nurse training.

While we are open to consider varying levels of experience, this is a role that requires strong confidence working in a busy hospital
