Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet East Oxford on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with 1:6 full weekends or 1:3 Saturday or Sunday shifts. There will also be a fair share of on call and bank holidays.

You will be working alongside two full time vets and one part time vet, two RVN's and a CCA, also East Oxford has its own laparoscopic equipment which is regularly used by our team.

The practice is easily walkable to the Cowley Road which is the main shopping street of East Oxford.

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance

  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team

  • Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
