We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly practice, to complement our excellent nursing team at Middleton Vets for Pets.
About Us:
With more than 440 small animal practices across the country, of all shapes and sizes, Vets for Pets is one of the largest UK veterinary groups. However, what really makes vets for pets a unique opportunity is that it is run locally, providing our local teams the time and opportunity to support their local community. This means you join a team that can support your individual needs while offering you a bespoke introduction to the practice, local community and caring for our patients!
The practice is independently run, by Dan our Practice Owner, supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. The team are supportive and really like to push each other to achieve their career goals, so as you would expect CPD, and certificates are highly encouraged.
Middleton is located on the North side of Manchester only 30 minutes outside of the city centre and is easily accessible via buses and trains to Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester so is perfect for people wanting access to city living without the cost! However, if the countryside is your way of relaxing, then the nearby Heaton Park and Alkrington Nature Reserve are under 10 minutes from the practice. For commuting routes, the practice is also under 10 minutes from the M60 which provides the ideal commuting journey for those coming from further afield.
About the role:
You’ll be joining a hard-working and inclusive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. Our standalone practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.
We would love to find a team focused and care driven RVN who shares our ethos of supporting each other, providing an excellent service to our bonded client base and most importantly prides themselves on providing the best standard of clinical care for each patient.
You must be comfortable with leading by example and have great communication and organisation skills. You will also be comfortable with undertaking all aspects of nursing in this role. You would be supported by the current colleagues which include our vets, Head RVN, RVN, 1 VCA, and our non-clinical team which includes a Practice Manager, Head Receptionist and 2 Receptionists.
This role is a full time role working 30 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (9am to 12pm).
In return we are able to offer you benefits that include:
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare, exceptional customer service and would like to join our team, then we would love to hear from you.
