Job Description

This is a team of 3 vets which is led by 2 branch partners, head nurse and 2 student nurses.They are a friendly, supportive team, well equipped with digital and dental xray, ultrasound, multi parameter anaesthesic monitoring. One of our vets has a certificate in dermatology and another in small animal medicine. Our 3rd vet is currently doing a certificate in exotic animals.
We are easily accessible with our own car park and for more complicated cases or overnight care we use Medivet Watford which is a short drive away.
And we are looking for a team player who enjoys all aspects of nursing.

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

About you

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
• Deliver exceptional care to your clients
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team

Some weekend, on-call and Bank Holiday working is required to support our colleagues at Watford 24hr Hospital.
