Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to Join our Kentish Town practice.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

This is a full time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:6 full weekends at our Hendon Hospital.

About you

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards

  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges

  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
