Anglo American Steelmaking Coal is seeking an experienced Registered Mine Surveyor to join the Technical Services team at Moranbah North Mine.
This is a key statutory and technical role supporting safe, accurate and compliant underground mining operations. You will lead mine surveying activities, maintain accurate survey control and plans, and provide practical technical support across mine planning, development, longwall and operational activities.
You will work closely with Mining, Technical Services and operational teams to ensure survey information is accurate, accessible and delivered in line with legislative, site and company requirements.
As the Registered Mine Surveyor, you will:

The internal appointment requirements identify a relevant Surveying or Spatial Science qualification, current competencies and registration with an appropriate mining endorsement. Queensland’s Surveyors Board also states that mine plans must be certified by a registered surveyor with a mining endorsement.
