The Transport Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care in critical care and transport settings, collaborates with transport teams, and supports patient care and education.
The Transport Respiratory Therapist
Education: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapist program.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of critical care NICU or Pediatric ICU experience required.
Licensure/Certifications/Registration: Licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and high tolerance for stress. Must be self-motivated. For Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, must possess ability to appropriately handle/restrain patients who may be disruptive and/or physically violent.

$33.52 - $50.28
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
