Compensation

  • Hourly Pay: $27.42 – $36.95/hour (based on experience)

  • Night Shift Differential: +$4.50/hour

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our fast-paced acute care hospital team in Kissimmee, FL. You will provide high-quality respiratory care for patients across the lifespan—from emergency interventions to advanced mechanical ventilation. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages

  • Operate and manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized treatment plans

  • Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the medical record

  • Ensure compliance with hospital, safety, and regulatory standards

  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of RRT experience required

  • Associate Degree from an AMA-accredited respiratory care program

  • Active Florida RRT license required (must be obtained prior to hire)

  • BLS certification (AHA) required
