Compensation: £58,250 / year


Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Registered Psychologist to join the team. This is a full time/37.5 Hour role.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches) for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised, recovery-focused treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Facilitate a range of therapeutic interventions, including structured group programmes and one-to-one therapy sessions, to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, risk assessment, and outcome monitoring, ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Actively contribute to clinical governance, audit, service development, and research, while also supporting supervision, teaching, and reflective practice within the team

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates should hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience working within mental health settings is essential, ideally with exposure to inpatient or complex care environments. Applicants should demonstrate strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based therapies, along with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, risk management, and report-writing skills are required, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of clinical practice.
