Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Reporting to the Manager Health Services, the Nurse is responsible for the delivery of direct client care, the planning, implementation, implementation and evaluation of client treatment plans; the administration and evaluation of medications and health care procedures; the provision of therapeutic clinical interventions and effective milieu management; the establishment of professional working relationships within the multidisciplinary team and community; and community resource identification and utilization. The functions are undertaken consistent with the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre’s established philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures and standards of Professional Practice and Code of Ethics outlined by the CPNAM and MARN professional bodies.
Graduate from an approved program in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing. (B.Sc.P.N., B.Sc. M.H. or B.Sc.N. preferred).
