About the role:
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Recovery/ PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical team on a Full-time, Part-time or Casual basis.
Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, no public holidays, closed 3 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period.

Pennant Hills Day Surgery is a modern purpose-built 3 theatre day surgery with excellent facilities. We specialise in Endoscopy, Interventional Pain Management, MOH's Surgery, Skin Lesion Surgery, Oral/ Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental and Iron Infusions.

Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based care: Monitor patient wellbeing and administer safe, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay.
• Prepare for safe surgery: Ensure the facility, equipment and clinical environment are ready to support safe, efficient surgical care.
• Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.
• Support recovery at home: Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
• Guide and support colleagues: Supervise and support on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
• Champion improvement: Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital.
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
• Solid experience as a Recovery/ PACU nurse
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
• Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
• Current ALS and PALS desirable but not essential we will train
• A willingness to diversify into other specialties, with training provided to support your development
