Job Description

We are seeking per diem RNs for our Addiction Treatment Services Programs in Tewksbury and Danvers. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include nursing support, individual case management, group treatment sessions, aftercare planning, and more. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who seeks to make a critical impact in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities:

  • Records and reports allobservedsymptoms, reactions to treatments and changes inpatients'safety status

  • Collaborates with team in providing health information andmaintainsclients’ medical records

  • Responds to patient care needs/issues andassistspatients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environment

  • Assistswith the admitting,dischargeand transfer process

  • Participates in treatment team meetings &assistswith development of care plans

  • Administers medications to patients and educates Recovery Specialists on proper medication dispensing guidelines

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse

  • Current certification in CPR

  • Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but notrequired

Schedule:Per Diem willingness to work all shifts including days,eveningsand nights on an as-needed basis. Requirement of 2 shifts per month.

Pay Range:

$38.76 - $52.17

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
