Your Role:

The RN/LPN provides nursing care to persons served in accordance with Michigan nursing regulations, physician orders, individualized plans of care, and NeuLife policies. This position provides medication administration, assessments, treatments, documentation, and clinical support to promote the health, safety, and quality of life of persons served.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor vital signs and changes in individuals' conditions
  • Complete nursing assessments and required clinical documentation
  • Provide wound care and other nursing treatments within scope of practice
  • Communicate significant changes in condition to physicians and clinical leadership
  • Ensure medication records and physician orders are accurate and current
  • Participate in care planning, team meetings, and medical appointments as needed
  • Provide health education to persons served, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Participate in required training and competency activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Michigan RN or LPN license
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and clinical skills
  • Ability to pass required background screening
