• Responsible for care and management of patients with wounds/ostomies
Education
• Associate Degree RN
Licenses and Certification
• IL licensed RN
• BLS
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 2 years RN; Wound Care Experience not required, but preferred.
Role Specific Responsibilities
• Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence based practice/ protocols, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment.
• Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician and is able to manage a number of patients at the same time
• Collaborates with other health care providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors, regarding department and patient needs.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$31.25 - $49.06
