White Cross Ascot is a busy, well-established urgent care clinic located at Ascot Hospital in Remuera, Auckland, providing comprehensive medical care for accidents and illnesses. Our experienced team of doctors and nurses manage a wide range of presentations including minor injuries, fractures, respiratory conditions, wounds, burns, and acute illnesses, with access to on-site X-ray, pharmacy, and laboratory services to support timely patient care. The clinic is ACC accredited and offers a welcoming, multicultural environment where several languages are spoken. Conveniently located near the Southern Motorway with parking available, White Cross Ascot operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering flexible shift opportunities in a dynamic urgent care setting.

Your Role:
We have a part-time (0.9 FTE) nursing position available at White Cross Ascot, which operates 24/7. Nursing staff will be required to provide support across a variety of shifts within these hours.
Perform accurate nursing assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
Deliver ongoing, culturally safe care that meets patient and family needs.
Maintain precise documentation and promote patient education.
Participate in team discussions, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Advanced experience in Acute Nursing.
Current registration as a New Zealand Registered Nurse.
Previous urgent care facility or Emergency Department experiences are advantageous.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Awareness of ACC and PHC.
Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) preferred.
Commitment to health equity and cultural competency, with an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
