Position Summary/ Department Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within our Boston Children’s Hospital Waltham Location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recovering pediatric patients from surgery.
  • Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment, with peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
  • Performing developmental/age-appropriate nursing assessments and interventions.
  • Working 4 – 8-hour shifts per week, including short call and overnight call.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience:

  • 2 years of inpatient Boston Children’s Hospital RN experience or other pediatric inpatient experience.
  • PACU/Critical care experience is strongly preferred.
  • PALS Certification is strongly preferred.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN
