About the Unit:
Join our dynamic Vascular Thoracic Unit, a highly specialized 21-bed unit dedicated to providing exceptional care to high-to-intensive patients following vascular and thoracic surgeries. Our fast-paced environment supports patients who have undergone procedures such as carotid surgery, lower extremity bypass, aneurysm repairs, arterial line placements, AKOS, and chest tube insertions.
As a Registered Nurse in the Vascular Thoracic Unit, you will implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups, from infancy to geriatrics. You will ensure patient care aligns with Kentucky Nursing Laws and our organizational policies and procedures. Your role will focus on promoting positive patient outcomes, delivering high-quality care, and driving change through active involvement in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils. You will contribute to a supportive and professional practice environment.
Requirements:
Active Kentucky RN License.
Associate's degree in nursing.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
