The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses – Theatre (Cardiac) for both casual and part-time positions.

Working in the Theatre department, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Lead, the Registered Nurse - Theatre, with a cardiothoracic and vascular focus, is responsible for scrubbing and circulating.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatre, specifically cardiac speciality in a New Zealand setting;
  • Understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another;
  • Have the ability and disposition to enhance cooperation and teamwork;
  • Be known for your clear and professional communication skills and your ability to remain calm and collected in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment;
  • Have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC).
