Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Telemetry Unit.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac changes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
