Catholic Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at St Catherine’s, Bathurst. This is a great permanent opportunity to deliver high quality, person centred care. You must be available for the 5 Monday to Friday shifts.
This role is not suitable for new Registered Nurse graduates.
Your role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high quality clinical care to residents, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times. You will work collaboratively with the care team to deliver best practice nursing services and respond to changing resident needs.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing comprehensive nursing care and clinical assessments to residents
• Monitoring and responding to changes in resident condition in a timely manner
• Administering medications and managing clinical documentation accurately
• Supervising and supporting care staff to ensure quality care delivery
• Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and procedures
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team
About you
You will bring:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in residential aged care (desirable)
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• A compassionate, resident focused approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
