Harbor Oaks Hospital is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Specialized Inpatient Pediatric Unit (SIPU) This unique unit provides high-quality, individualized care for children and adolescents with co-occurring psychiatric conditions and developmental disabilities
Harbor Oaks Hospital is the only psychiatric hospital in the state of Michigan offering an inpatient environment and specialized programming specifically designed to meet the complex needs of children and teens with both psychiatric and developmental diagnoses. While not required for admission, many patients served on SIPU have an autism spectrum diagnosis
The Registered Nurse on SIPU plays a critical role in providing safe, therapeutic, and developmentally appropriate care in a structured inpatient setting. RNs collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to support emotional regulation, safety, skill development, and overall treatment progress for pediatric patients and their families.
