
About the role
Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our growing Perioperative Services team. We currently have opportunities available within our state-of-the-art Main Theatre complex, with a particular focus on Scrub/Scout Nurses to support our ophthalmology surgical services. We are also recruiting Day Surgery Nurses for positions within our standalone Eye Clinic on Welling Street, working in a specialised ophthalmology day surgery setting. Ophthalmology experience is highly regarded; however, we welcome applications from experienced perioperative nurses looking to develop their skills in this rewarding specialty.
Our Main Theatres operate Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 9:00pm, with occasional Saturday lists, offering a variety of shift options. Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
