About the Opportunity
Aurora St. Luke’s is continuously seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine team, home to Wisconsin’s only 24/7 Hyperbaric Medicine Program.
Our program provides advanced inpatient and outpatient care for patients with complex chronic wounds related to diabetes, vascular disease, infection, and other conditions. We also deliver Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), a specialized treatment that enhances healing through increased tissue oxygenation.

What You’ll Do
• Deliver expert nursing care for acute and chronic wound management
• Perform wound treatments including dressing changes, VAC therapy, compression wraps, and diabetic casting
• Assist with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in monoplace and multiplace chambers
• Prepare, monitor, and assess patients before, during, and after HBOT sessions
• Provide inpatient wound and ostomy care consultations
• Educate patients and families on wound care, infection prevention, and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care

• Treats approximately 30–70 outpatients daily

• 3 chamber locks
• 5 exam rooms
• Dedicated patient staging bay
Emergency Hyperbaric On‑Call Team
• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience strongly needed
Schedule (Full‑Time and PRN as Applicable)
• Monday through Friday:
– 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (4 days per week) or
– 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• One weekend every 4th rotation: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Minimum of two holidays per year
• On‑call coverage required rotate to weekend and 3–4 days per month
Education Required
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program
Experience
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
• Strong IV skills
• Preferred experience includes:
– ICU or Emergency Department (critical care call)
– Wound care
– Strong clinical judgment and patient education skills
