Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary
Pleasantview Care Center is seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to care for residents requiring NIV and complex respiratory support. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional post-acute and long-term care. This is a full-time position and all shifts are available.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to residents requiring NIV, tracheostomy, and respiratory support.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident status.
• Supervise LPNs and STNAs/CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ventilator, trach, or critical care experience preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or step-down unit experience a plus.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
