Flexible Scheduling Options:
Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN/Supplemental
Day | Evening | Night Shifts

As a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Illinois, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You’ll play a critical role in improving patient outcomes and supporting our mission of advancing the health and well-being of our community.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois or compact state)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred

Unit-Specific Certifications (Required or Obtained Within Designated Timeframe)

• ICU / Critical Care:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS) required
• Critical Care certification ( CCRN) preferred
• Emergency Department (ED):
• ACLS, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
• ENPC preferred
• Medical/Surgical & Ortho:
• ACLS preferred (may be required within 6–12 months)
• Neuro:
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred but not required.
• ACLS preferred
• Wound Care:
• Wound Care Certification ( WCC) or equivalent highly preferred
• Surgery / Procedural Areas:
• ACLS required
• Moderate Sedation competency as applicable

Compensation

• Staff RN: $31.25 – $46.88/hour
• PRN RN: $35 – $45/hour
• Shift Differentials:
• Nights: +$7/hour
• Weekends: +$2/hour

Float pool and internal contract opportunities available.
