Baystate Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for inpatient Med/Surg and Medical/Surgical nursing positions across our healthcare system in Western Massachusetts.
As an Inpatient RN, you will care for adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions while developing your clinical judgment, assessment, prioritization, and care coordination skills.
Full-time and part-time day shift opportunities are available.
Our inpatient Medical/Surgical units care for patients with a broad range of acute and complex medical and surgical needs.
Depending on the unit and location, Med/Surg RNs may care for patients requiring:
Medical/Surgical care
Acute medical management
Surgical and post-operative care
Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
Neurological care
Renal care
Orthopedic care
Oncology-related care
Observation-level care
Higher-acuity Medical/Surgical care

Depending on the position, you may have the opportunity to work in a community hospital or academic medical center environment, with different patient populations, levels of complexity, specialties, and team structures.

Compensation
Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
