Advance Your Clinical Practice in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Our Intensive Care Unit is a highly collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional care to patients with complex and critical conditions. Nurses work alongside experienced physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams in a supportive environment that values professional growth, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

How you’ll contribute

An RN ICU who excels in this role:

• Provides direct patient care to critically ill patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and identifies changes in patient condition
• Administers medications, treatments, and life-support interventions as prescribed
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient status to physicians and the care team
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, and discharge planning
• Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients and families

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred, Associates required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred, but must have within 30 days of hire.

Job Type: Full-time | Nights

Schedule: 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends and Holidays
