Touchmark at Georgetown, located on 13 beautifully landscaped acres just north of Austin and south of Sun City, is the newest addition to the Touchmark family, backed by more than 45 years of senior living experience. As a Registered Nurse with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring our residents receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members!
Schedule will be Sunday - Thursday
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:
• Possess a current RN License
• 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental a plus.
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (as per state requirements if it must be kept current).
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Must exemplify the Touchmark values of Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity and Compassion
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to process care plans and other required documents in an efficient timeframe
