We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing specialties, including occupational health, home care, and senior care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in patient education and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures with precision.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.

  • Provide acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.

  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

  • Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols to promote safety and quality of care.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

  • Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices, including esthetic laser treatment techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice.

  • Experience in occupational health, home care, or senior care is preferred.

  • Proficiency in performing venipuncture and managing acute pain situations.

  • Ability to ventilate patients effectively when required in emergency situations.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and teamwork.

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

  • Previous experience with electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth is a plus.
