Responsible for monitoring and assisting in the overall health and safety of the individual served.
Requirements: New York State Licensed Registered Nurse; Experience with Developmentally Disabled population/ OPWDD Regs a plus.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of two-year College or graduate school from an accredited nursing program and one to six months related experience and/or training is required.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A current NYS license to practice as a registered nurse.
