IU Health is looking for a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. This part-time role, 4 days per week, operates primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours, based out of the Oncology office at Ball.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the clinical and administrative aspects of oncology research projects.
  • Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Communicate effectively regarding protocol adherence and patient care issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals involved in research activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • 5-7 years of relevant nursing experience, with oncology experience highly valued.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Additional advanced life support certifications may be required based on departmental needs.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations related to clinical research.
  • Ability to perform thorough physical assessments.
  • Phlebotomy skills, including blood draws and IV starts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
