100 - 700000 TG - Rehabilitation CenterThe Registered Nurse plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates nursing care for patients. This role participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patient conditions; initiate and adjust care plans as needed.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with policy.
• Provide hygiene and comfort measures to support patient well-being.
• Educate patients and families; identify and address emotional and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Identify and manage patient risks, including falls and skin breakdown.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper body mechanics.
• Complete documentation, shift reports, and assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and use time efficiently to deliver patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
1. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana.
