Job Description

About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurse with experience in Recovery/ PACU to join our clinical team on a Casual basis.
Monday to Friday flexible roster, some Saturday work available and is optional. No public holidays and the Christmas/ New Year period closed.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
• Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
• Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
• Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
• Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
• Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
• Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
• Solid experience in Recovery/ PACU nursing in a Perioperative setting.
• Current AHPRA registration as a nurse
• Ability to work a flexible roster
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in below specialties desirable
