What you will be doing in this role
As a Registered Nurse within our Radiology & Nuclear Medicine team, you will provide exceptional patient care across a diverse range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. Working alongside radiologists, medical specialists, technologists, and fellow nursing professionals, you will support patients throughout their entire clinical journey, from preparation and procedural assistance through to recovery and discharge.
This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced nursing skills in a highly specialised environment. You will assist with routine and complex Interventional Radiology procedures, including scrub/scout responsibilities and the administration and monitoring of procedural sedation. You will also provide post-procedural recovery care, undertake patient assessments, and ensure the safe discharge of patients following their procedures.
In addition, you will play an integral role in supporting patients undergoing diagnostic imaging across a variety of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine modalities, delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care while working with leading imaging technologies and clinical teams.
This permanent opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and operates across a rotating 7-day roster, with shifts ranging from 6:30am to midnight. Participation in an on-call roster will also be required.
