Jersey Shore Ambulatory Surgery Center (Jersey Shore ASC) in Somers Point, New Jersey, is a modern outpatient surgery center featuring four operating rooms and a patient-centered approach to care. The center provides a cost-effective alternative to hospital-based surgery, offering services in orthopedic total joint replacement, sports medicine, podiatry, ophthalmology, spine surgery, pain management, and general surgery.

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery

• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients

• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols

• Support patient education and post-op instructions

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current NJ RN license (unencumbered)

• At least 1 year of perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years)

• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity

• Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas

• Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday)
