Glendale Surgery Center has an opening for a Part-time - Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp .

Glendale Surgical Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. This center specializes in Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Pain Management. We have 1 Operating Room and 2 procedure rooms.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PreOp PostOp provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PreOp PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Part time requires 20 - 29 hours/week.

Hourly Wage Range: $48.00 - $65.00, depending on experience

Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS accredited by AHA
• 2 + years experience in Pre-Op/PACU. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
