Chattanooga Pain Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pre-Admissions RN to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for ensuring seamless surgical experiences, this role is for you.
About the Role:
As a Pre-Admissions RN, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures by ensuring they are medically optimized and fully informed. You’ll conduct pre-op assessments, review medical histories, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and provide patient education—all while delivering exceptional care.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for all our ambulatory surgery patients
Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness
Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, setting them up for a smooth recovery
Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support
What We’re Looking for:
Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state license) and BLS certification
Experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre Op
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
