A Brief Overview
The division is designed to accommodate provide medical care to patients who are immunocompromised. This includes care for babies, children, teens and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. A range of services and an individualized treatment plan are provided and treatment tailored for the specific cancer type and stage, and to meet the patient’s unique needs.
Common patient diagnoses include:
Leukemia
Basal cell carcinoma
Sickle cell anemia
Skin cancer
Bone cancer
What You Will Do
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
