If you are a team player and eager to learn and grow your more critical nursing skills, this PACU unit has availability for nurses. We recover patients from a variety of procedure and surgical areas post-anesthesia. We are open Monday – Friday some on-call on the weekends and weeknights that is rotating with all staff.

Shift: Days - 10:00a-7:30p (4/9s)

Patient Population/Diagnoses:

  • PACU-post surgical patients - General, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Thoracic, GYN, Transplant, IR, GI, and ERCP
  • outpatient post-surgical patients

Number of Beds

  • PACU- 15 bays

Nursing skills gained:

  • PACU- epidurals, CADD pumps, vent management, art lines, assessment skills, lab draws, PCAs, pain/nausea management, ACLS, PALS
