Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse in the PACU at CentraCare Monticello Hospital! Provide compassionate, specialized care to patients as they safely recover from surgery and take their next step toward healing. Collaborate with a dedicated Surgical Services team to promote continuity and quality of care while contributing to staff education and the advancement of clinical practices. Schedule:

  • Part-Time 56 hours every two weeks
  • Monday through Friday; variable start and end times
  • Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call shifts-off-premise call 30 minutes response

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay based on experience and degree
  • Pay range: $41.32 - $68.11 per hour
  • Associate's in nursing starting at $41.32 per hour
  • Bachelor's in nursing is starting at $42.56 per hour
  • Master's in nursing starting at $43.84 per hour
  • Pay range: $41.32 - $68.11 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing or higher
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Current Minnesota RN License Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current BLS certification Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ACLS certified for “on call” purposes only
  • Previous Surgical Services experience preferred.
  • Respond onsite within 30 minutes when “on call”
  • Must possess demonstrated communication skills, able to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong written and verbal skills and possess strong interpersonal human relations skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed.
